Sometimes you need one chapter, not the whole manual; one signed page, not the forty-page contract. This tool extracts exactly the pages you name into a new PDF — or breaks a document into single-page files — without touching the original, and without uploading anything.
Two ways to split
Extract copies the pages you specify into one new PDF, in the order you list them — so “3, 1” genuinely gives you page 3 followed by page 1, which makes the tool a quiet page-reorderer as well. Ranges are inclusive, and an open range like “8-” runs to the last page. Every page separately produces one PDF per page, bundled into a .zip so you download them all at once.
Copied, not re-rendered
Pages move between documents at the document level (the same pdf-lib machinery as the Merge tool), so extracted pages are identical to the originals — text remains text, images keep their resolution, and file size shrinks in honest proportion to the pages you kept.
Private by design
Like every CalcViso file tool, this one runs entirely in your browser. The file you choose is read by this page, processed on your device, and offered back as a download — it is never uploaded to a server, never stored, and never seen by anyone else. Close the tab and it is gone from memory.
Worked example
Load the sample PDF (4 pages) and extract “1-2”: the download is a 2-page PDF holding exactly sample pages 1 and 2. Then switch to “Every page as its own PDF” and split again — the zip holds page-1.pdf through page-4.pdf.
How to use this tool
- Drop your PDF onto the box (or use the sample).
- Choose Extract, and type the pages you want — ranges 1-3, singles 5, open-ended 8-…
- …or choose “Every page as its own PDF” to split the whole file at once.
- Press Split PDF and download the new PDF (or the .zip of singles).
Removing pages
To delete pages rather than keep them, extract everything except the unwanted ones: for a 20-page file without pages 4 and 9, extract “1-3, 5-8, 10-20”. The result is the same document minus those pages, in original quality.
