CalcViso is built so that privacy is the default, not a setting. This policy explains, in plain language, what information is and is not collected when you use calcviso.com.
The tools collect nothing
Every calculator and tool on CalcViso runs entirely in your web browser, on your device. The numbers, text and files you use with the tools — a loan amount, an essay you paste into the word counter, a photo you resize — are processed locally and are never sent to our servers, never stored, and never shared. When you close the tab, that information is gone.
No accounts, no sign-ups
CalcViso has no user accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal information to use the tools, and there is nothing to log in to.
Standard server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is loaded — for example your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site secure, diagnose problems and understand which tools are popular in aggregate. They are not used to identify individual visitors, and they never contain the values you enter into a calculator.
Cookies
CalcViso does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If the site ever uses cookies for a basic function (such as remembering a display preference), they will stay on your device and will not be used to follow you around the web.
Third-party services
Pages on CalcViso load fonts from Google Fonts so the site displays consistently. That service may receive your IP address and browser details when a font is loaded, under its own privacy policy. We do not embed social-media trackers or sell, rent or trade any information to anyone.
Children's privacy
CalcViso is a general-audience tool site and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Because we collect so little, changes are expected to be rare and minor.
